A Foundation in Science student, Jude Anselm William, 19 said: “The bubble milk tea drinks are very common in Kampar and hopefully Each A Cup can have something new, something different. The environment is just nice and comfortable also but to further improve by widdening the area to have more space.”
Final year Accounting student, Lau Hui Ling, 21, said she tried lots of bubble milk teas in Ochado and thinks that they are not that special and their teas taste just okay. She further commented if compared to others, Ochado’s standard is much higher.
Final year English Language student Yeoh Siao Chen, 23, said regarding Bubblean’s: “Personally, I like their milk tea because the tea taste is strong and it is smooth; however their bubbles aren’t that nice, it’s a bit too mushy in my opinion.”
“The Mango 3Q tea was actually pretty good, I like that their mango pop bubble wasn’t that sweet,” added Yeoh.
Hee Yen Ni, 22, second-year Banking and Finance student, said: “I like Bubblean’s very much because the environment is nice. The shop has sofas which makes people very comfortable when dining there.”
When asked about the opinions of BlackBall, Faculty of Business and Finance tutor, Alex Foo, said that the taste of the drinks is good. However, if the shop can provide more seats, it would be better.
On a side note, there are some who have a different mindset regarding the current bloomed bubble tea shops. Some say that having too many similar shops in one place will destroy the bubble tea market in Kampar.
With the current awareness campaign held in Kampar in regards to the health effects bubble tea has on its consumers, this will only make students become less interested.
